Working for PCAS Kent

We pride ourself on the way that we work which is different from many other care providers. Find out more about us below:

Positive employer

We are a positive employer and we employ staff from all walks of life, we manage people in an open and transparent way.

If you think you can be a positive influence in someone elses life then please apply

Care or Support

We care about everyone we support, but we offer both.

We promote independence and support others to realise their potential, and care for them when it is required, all walks of life and all needs

Training

NO TRAINING? NO PROBLEM

We employ staff with experience and without. Many of the best support workers have never done this work before.

We offer full training using face 2 face, distance and e-learning courses fully accredited and recognised. We also offer all staff NVQ/Diploma courses from level 2-5

As well as specialist training where the need arises

Uniform

We really don't like uniforms. Unless you want them

We like to see our staff walking down the road talking and sharing their time with someone, we don't think that most people want to draw attention to a need for support, or care.

Provided it's appropriate for the situation we wear what we like (within reason)

Typical day?

No such thing...

A day can be varied from shopping to cooking to budgeting. We don't just do for others we always support them to do.

Other times its a holiday with someone, a day out fishing or go-karting or even swimming with dolphins on someones holiday of a lifetime.

We challenge people to find something we WON'T do, and they haven't found it yet ...

Values

We are not a typical employer, we are a values based company, this is important to us as it means we find the right people to provide a truly personal service to others, we need to make sure our Staff have the right values and ethos that we believe in. We truly believe in Equality and inclusion. We want our staff to have the same feelings and values as we do about people we support.
