What is Support Work?

Support Work is a unique job and no two days are the same. As a Support Worker, you will be working alongside a variety of people who all have different support needs. Your focus will always be on ability first and promoting independence.

Your job is to enable the person you are working with to achieve a range of daily living tasks and undertake activities, without doing the task for them but by assisting and guiding that person to the desired outcome. Having fun is essential!
