Mel Lomas

Head of Finance

Mel has been working within a Finance environment for over 25 years across various sectors. Her career in Finance began when she worked for the National Lottery Charities Board [known now as the Big Lottery Fund] where she was responsible for the day-to-day finances, analysis of spending along with forecasting and budgeting. Mel later had the opportunity to work in the Finance Department at the House of Commons where she was responsible for all aspects of cash management, income, and credit control. Whilst there Mel volunteered to support new Members of Parliament and helped to induct them into parliament acting as a sign-post/go-to for any queries they may have with the administration process of Parliament.

Mel's role in PCAS is varied and she manages all aspects of Finance with the support of her team, this can range from the analysis of operational output to reporting on the company’s performance via monthly reports to inform senior management and support key decision-making.

When Mel's not engrossed in numbers or their analysis, she enjoys spending her spare time with friends and family and travelling and exploring new places.


Mel Payne

Operations Manager & Quality Assurance

Mel has worked in Health and social care for 25 years in a variety of roles and settings including health coordinator, L5 trainer assessor, and registered manager. Throughout out her time working in the sector she has had the privilege of supporting some of the most amazing individuals, all with unique needs and supported them to set, achieve and exceed their personal goals by working closely with their families and other professionals.

Becky De Rose

Operations Manager

Becky joined PCAS Kent in March 2022, she has many years’ experience with social care, delivering care and support, starting as a support worker and progressing through to various management roles, her passion lies with improving the quality of services provided for adults with learning disabilities enabling them to achieve their goals and positive outcomes.

Donna Bunn

Operations Manager

Donna has worked in the social care sector for over 25 years in different settings such as Residential and Supported Living services starting as a support worker and progressing through to several senior management roles and experience as a Quality and Improvement auditor. Donna has good knowledge and interest in Positive Behaviour Support and promoting a person centered approach to improve the quality of life for those people we support with challenges and finding new approaches to support those we support to express their needs and desires.

When Donna is not at working and making a difference, Donna likes to spend time at home with her Family and her 3 cats. Or watching her favourite football team Liverpool.

Zach Virgo

Learning & Development Manager

Zach joined us following 11 years in Financial Services. He has more than 5 years experience designing and delivering fresh learning and development solutions, Zach has a passion for asking “Why?” and finding new ways to make sure people have all the tools they need to do well in their job. Being new to Social Care, Zach is looking to bring a fresh perspective on how learning and development is approached within PCAS and build on the incredible knowledge and team experiences that already exist.
Outside of work, Zach enjoys watching sport and youtube videos about maps.

Sarah Keane

HR Manager

Sarah has been working within HR for 7 years and specialises in employee relations and engagement and retention. Prior to working in HR, she worked in retail management, developing teams for success. Sarah is associate CIPD trained and is a keen advocate for lifelong learning. Sarah is passionate about developing individuals and teams and supporting the entire employment journey. She is a mentor for the University of Greenwich in her spare time and often uses these transferrable skills within her work. Sarah is a creative person and likes nothing more than to see creative and collaborative problem-solving in action. She has worked within fostering and as part of the team at Carers First a charity supporting unpaid carers. Sarah is passionate about delivering great support to all stakeholders and helping enable managers and teams to deliver great support too.
