At PCAS, we are committed to fostering an inclusive and supportive environment throughout the year. Our Inclusion Calendar highlights key dates and awareness events that reflect our dedication to diversity, equality, health and well-being. Here is an overview of the events we have and are recognising for 2025:

March

  • Rock Your Socks for Mencap – Celebrating and raising awareness for people with Down’s Syndrome.
  • Prostate Cancer Awareness Month – Supporting education and awareness around men's health.

April

  • Easter – Celebrating the Christian holiday and promoting understanding of its cultural significance.
  • World Autism Awareness Day – Promoting inclusion and understanding of individuals on the autism spectrum.

May

  • Afternoon Tea for Breast Cancer – Raising funds and awareness in support of breast cancer research and support services.
  • National Walking Month – Encouraging physical well-being through active living.

June

  • Neurodiversity Pride Day – Honouring neurodivergent individuals and celebrating their unique strengths.
  • Pride Month – Recognising and supporting the LGBTQ+ community.

July

  • International Day of Friendship (July 30) – Promoting friendship and cultural diversity across communities.

September

  • International Day of Sign Languages (Sept 23) – Promoting linguistic and cultural diversity within the Deaf community.
  • World Alzheimer’s Day (Sept 21) & Dementia Awareness Month – Raising understanding and compassion for those living with dementia.
  • World Suicide Prevention Day (Sept 10) – Highlighting the importance of mental health support and suicide prevention.

October

  • Menopause Awareness – Supporting open conversation and education about menopause.
  • World Mental Health Day – Emphasising the importance of mental well-being for all.

November

  • UK Interfaith Week – Promoting respect and understanding across different faiths and belief systems.
  • Stress Awareness Day – Encouraging stress management and well-being strategies.
  • World Diabetes Day – Increasing awareness about diabetes prevention and management.
  • Men’s Health Awareness Month – Focusing on men’s mental and physical health, including prostate and testicular cancer.

December

  • Christmas – Celebrating the festive season and promoting inclusion for people of all faiths and backgrounds.
