Jane started her career in 1983 working for the NHS at Minster Hospital in a rehab physiotherapy unit working with stroke patients, limb replacements and elderly care. She loved the work but shiftwork is difficult with a young family.
After having a family, she moved to working in home care services, providing care to mostly older people and disabled people in their own homes. Jane quickly became the manager of Boldglen Ltd, Sheppey area and continued to work there for 14 years.
To further her career to Registered Manager she moved to Audley at Mote House in Mote Park and set up the new business at the retirement village, providing care for residents and the local community. Here she undertook Leadership and Managers Award and continued her development.
Four years later, Jane moved to Avalon Enterprise UK Ltd, working with learning disabilities and autism in both supported living and home care. Here, Jane found her passion and 7 years later Avalon was bought by PCAS and her journey continues, doing what I love.
Sandie has worked in health and social care for over 20 years. Caring for a family member led her to a career turn and make the decision to become a support worker. Soon after she was promoted to a senior, followed by team leader, then a manager in a short space of time. Sandie achieved the level 5 diploma in 2016.
Sandie enjoys helping people to achieve their full potential and find new interests, she is a firm believer in making support sessions fun. She is hard working and always willing to help with anything, she enjoys a challenge and is not easily fazed.
In her spare time she continues to care for a family member, and also likes to spend time with my husband, children and 10 Grandchildren (11th one due in March 2020)
