The Gravesend Christmas Party 2024
19th December 2024
This year, for the very first time, PCAS hosted a separate Christmas party in Gravesend to honour our friends who were unable to travel to or attend the party in Faversham. The event brought together over 50 staff members and service users for an afternoon filled with festive fun and celebration.
The party began promptly at 2 PM, with many guests arriving on the dot, their eager expressions reflecting their excitement for the holiday gathering. As soon as the doors opened, the room buzzed with socialising as attendees reconnected with old friends and made new acquaintances. The warm atmosphere was complemented by lively music and the aroma of freshly baked goods.
One of the highlights of the day was the karaoke session, which kicked off with Sarah’s spirited rendition of "Mr. Bombastic," earning her a wave of applause. Throughout the afternoon, the joyful sounds of laughter, singing, and dancing filled the venue, creating a truly festive feeling.
As the party progressed, attendees eagerly anticipated the raffle draw. Excitement ran high as participants waited to see if they had won one of the fabulous prizes on offer. The raffle added an extra layer of joy to the celebration.
The day’s festivities culminated with a special visit from Father Christmas himself. Bearing gifts for everyone, Santa’s appearance delighted guests and added a magical touch to an already memorable event.
Reflecting on the success of the event, Team Leader Charley shared, “The Gravesend Christmas party was a success! Each of the service users enjoyed it, a visit from Santa, karaoke, disco, and lots of food and drinks was enjoyed by each and every one. We have had so much feedback from our staff and service users! Next year we will be bigger and better!”
A big thank you to Gravesend Veteran's Hall for having us!
