The PCAS Christmas Party 2024
18th December 2024
In true PCAS tradition, the head office in Faversham was transformed into a festive wonderland for the annual PCAS Christmas party, bringing together over 50 staff members and service users for an afternoon of joy and celebration.
The festivities kicked off at 12 pm, though many guests arrived early, eager for another exciting event following the success of previous PCAS holiday parties. The day was filled with crafts, delicious food, fun competitions, and plenty of festive cheer.
Guests were invited to get creative with arts and crafts, designing personalised Christmas cards for friends and family. A special photo booth provided the perfect backdrop for capturing holiday memories, with attendees using their photos to decorate their cards.
As the afternoon continued, a festive lunch was served, featuring an array of seasonal treats, including traditional pastries and fresh fruit.
The highlight of the day came when Father Christmas made a surprise appearance, spreading holiday magic by gifting presents to every guest. His visit was a moment of pure joy, leaving attendees smiling with delight.
The event concluded with the judging of the Christmas Bauble Decoration competition, followed by the much-anticipated raffle. Proceeds from the raffle were donated to the Save the Children charity, a cause close to everyone's heart.
Head of Operations Alac reflects "It was great to see so many of the people we support celebrating Christmas together. Clearly, people had a good time and again really enjoyed the raffle."
Service User Ian, who attended his fifth PCAS Christmas party, shared his thoughts on the event: “This one was by far the best. My favourite part was the photo booth; I really enjoyed having my photos taken. What I loved most about the party was seeing my friends and chatting with them. It was so much fun that I stayed behind to help clean up, as a way of showing my gratitude. I’d definitely recommend future PCAS events.”
HR Team Leader Sarah explained that "It was nice to see so many of our teams and the people we support coming together, the bauble designs were lovely, and we had some great festive jumpers on show. Thanks to everyone who attended, contributed and donated to the event!"
Service User David, had this to say when asked, " The Christmas party was good, lots of people attended, I couldn't choose one thing as my favourite as I enjoyed everything"
Marketing Officer Max also reflected on the event, saying, “It was a real delight to see everyone enjoying themselves. It reminds you of why you do this job."
The PCAS Christmas party was another heartwarming success, leaving everyone with memories to cherish and a sense of community that truly embodies the spirit of the season.
